First time I heard about Critical Literacy subject and heard some comments, it makes me jump into a conclusion. "How can I go through with this hard subject?." When I opened the Critical Literacy module, I found that some of the words are hard to understand and sometimes the word is hard to guess hard to know what is the meaning.
After going through, I try to understand what is actually inside this subject. The first thing that I am expecting for this subject is I want to get an A. Even though it is hard, but I hold somebody's words. "If someone else can do, why not me?" It makes me to think that how hard the work is everyone can do it.
Moreover, I am expecting to perform well for all assignments. In this subject, a lot of assignments that need to be finish in order to score this subject. It needs to has a very depth understanding and need to think critically so the message can be understand clearly. Understand what the lecturer has said while in the class and asking question are the most important things in order to understand how to do the assignments.
Finally, after a few weeks I learn about Critical Literacy such as how to makes a decision, what is bias, what is the difference between fact and opinion and others, I have learn something. I love to hear my classmates giving some opinions, ideas and answering a few questions. Through this, I can increase up my knowledge. So, I am expecting that what I have learn in this subject can be apply in my life and can be something useful for anyone else.
